What is a menopause coach?
Elektra’s coaches are menopause experts who can answer your questions and provide personalized, on-demand support. They can help with lifestyle interventions (nutrition, exercise, etc), supplement information, vetted product recommendations, and emotional support. Plus, they’re all navigating a similar menopause transition alongside you!
Menopause coach vs clinician...what's the difference?
Elektra Coaches are healthcare professionals you can think of as part-accountability partners, part-menopause doulas. They work 1:1 with patients who join our private platform to help them feel educated and empowered during their menopause journey. This non-clinical support comes to life in the form of symptom-specific education, lifestyle interventions, supplement information, and product recommendations.
Elektra clinicians, on the other hand, provide telemedicine care in select states and can order labs and prescribe as needed (hormonal and non-hormonal options). Clinical care is covered by EmblemHealth.
Is there a monthly membership fee?
Nope! There is no membership fee for access to coaching or the private education and community platform. And if you decide to book a visit with a clinician, you'd just be responsible for your copay (if you have one) since it's covered by EmblemHealth.
