Nora Lansen
MA, MD, MSCP
Nora Lansen is a primary care physician with a breadth of experience in healthcare and leadership. After completing her family medicine residency at the Institute for Family Health / Beth Israel (NY), Nora joined One Medical, where she focused on primary care, people leadership, and the design and implementation of reproductive health services. Nora then moved on to lead the digital clinical team at Galileo Health, overseeing the growth of the team from five to one hundred fifty clinicians, with a focus on delivering high quality, accessible healthcare in the virtual space. Nora earned her BA from Johns Hopkins and MD from New York Medical College. Previously a lifelong New Yorker, she moved to Seattle with her three kids (and rescue dog, Luke) in 2022 and is still adjusting to the overwhelming beauty and soundtrack of the Pacific Northwest (silence, not sirens).

Gail DeLasho
MD, FACOG, MSCP
Gail DeLasho brings decades of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. She trained at Boston University Medical Center, after which she moved to New York, where she has been practicing ever since. Dr. DeLasho is a Menopause Society-Certified Practitioner and has been a member of The Menopause Society since 1994. She is also a member of the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health (ISSWSH), the International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM), and the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease (ISSVD).

Dineasha Potter-McQuilkin

Dineasha Potter-McQuilkin is a double board-certified OB/GYN and Lifestyle Medicine physician, as well as a Menopause Society-Certified Practitioner. Passionate about midlife women's wellness, she combines expertise with compassion to empower women during this transformative life stage.
She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed her residency at St. Peter’s University Hospital/Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Program. Outside of work, Dr. Potter-McQuilkin enjoys hiking, reading, and cherishing moments with her husband and three children. Yvette Sims is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner certified by The Menopause Society. She's been in practice for over 20 years and remains committed to providing personalized, compassionate care to guide women towards optimal health and wellness. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Binghamton University and Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Pace University in Manhattan. In her free time, Yvette enjoys practicing yoga and spending time with her two sons.

Kara Govoni

Kara Govoni is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and Menopause Society-Certified Practitioner who is also currently working towards an AASECT certification as a Sexuality Counselor. She has worked as a full-scope CNM for the past 13 years in both obstetrics and gynecology but over the past five years has honed her speciality to sexual health and midlife care, as she feels an increasing passion to help women during some of the most vulnerable — but least-talked-about — times in their lives. Kara earned her Bachelors from Eastern Nazarene College and masters degree in nurse midwifery from The Ohio State University. She currently resides in Massachusetts with her four children. Fun fact: she’s also a professional organizer in her free time!

Dawn Black is a board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of experience in caring for women in the United States Air Force. She earned her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida and is a Menopause Society-Certified Practitioner (MSCP). Dawn practices personalized care where women feel heard and respected, ensuring their unique needs and concerns are addressed. When she's not working, you can find Dawn spending time with family (her spouse, two children, and three Pomeranians!), traveling, reading, or exercising.

Melody Lin is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who is also certified by The Menopause Society. She loves enabling her patients to take charge of their own health, and is a strong advocate for the LGBTQ community. She attended nursing school at The University of Texas at Arlington, and graduate school at Texas Women’s University. Prior to Elektra, she worked at Planned Parenthood and FOLX Health. In her spare time, Melody loves traveling with her husband, running (she’s run a marathon!), and spending time with her 2 dogs and 2 cats. Fun fact: she’s fostered over 30 kittens for a cat rescue!

Rewa Thompson is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice. Her extensive background in women’s health includes 30 years working at Planned Parenthood of Greater New York, where she specialized in reproductive care services. She believes that all patients should be well-informed so that they can make the best decisions regarding their care. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Adelphi University before attending graduate school at Stony Brook University for her masters and doctoral degrees. When she’s not working, Rewa enjoys spending time at the gym doing aqua aerobics and zumba, serving as a deaconess at her church, and traveling with her husband and daughters. She’s the proud grandma of a 4-year-old Jack Russell Terrier rescue dog!

Carol DerSarkissian is a board-certified physician and Menopause Society-Certified Practitioner. She has worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU Langone Medical Center, and as an Attending Physician at Manhattan VA Hospital. Her approach to midlife care is interconnected, blending traditional medicine, innovation, and compassion with the goal of empowering women to embrace this phase with strength and confidence. She earned her bachelors and medical degrees from University of Southern California before completing her residency at NYU Medical School/Bellevue Hospital. She’s a mom of two and, in her free time, enjoys metal sculpting, hiking and swimming in the ocean.

Lindsay Athans

Lindsay Athans is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is also certified by The Menopause Society. She has experience in women’s health, primary care, and oncology and has also worked as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. Her clinical philosophy centers around treatment of the whole person, and she enjoys developing long-term, trusting relationships with patients. She earned a bachelors degree in Human Services from Northeastern University, and a bachelors of science in nursing from Down State University Medical Center. Lindsay then went on to obtain her masters and nurse practitioner degree from Stony Brook University. She lives in New York State with her husband and two children, and enjoys running, biking, strength training, reading, dancing, music, and baking!

Jennifer Malamas

Jennifer Malamas is a board-certified physician and Menopause Society-Certified Practitioner. For Jenn, delivering the best quality care is founded upon a comprehensive approach that includes open and effective communication, patient education, and advocacy. To achieve these ends, she has also completed Leadership Coaching certification and MMTCP Meditation teacher training, maintaining an active practice as a women's leadership coach as well as a meditation teacher. Jenn's combined skills foster the best possible outcomes for patient's lives and health. Jenn earned her medical degree from Howard University and trained as a resident at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt/Mount Sinai in NYC. She currently lives in the Pocono Mountains and in her free time enjoys being active and spending time outside (yoga, kayaking, hiking, birding), organizing, spending time with her husband and step-daughter, and hosting friends.

Julia practices whole-person, evidence-based care that starts with listening. Julia earned her bachelors in nursing from Colorado State University, followed by a masters from Frontier Nursing University. She hails from the lakes of Minnesota and now lives in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. In her free time, Julia loves playing in the mountains and sharing adventures with her family.

Muni Tahzib is a board-certified physician. After years spent providing care as an allergist-immunologist, she shifted her focus to women’s health. She believes that true healing is possible when a clinician addresses the body-mind-soul connection, which is what led her to become a certified mindfulness and meditation teacher. Muni received her medical degree in the Netherlands, with subsequent training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. For the past 16 years, she’s led humanitarian medical relief trips around the world. She has 3 adult children and, in her free time, loves to paint, play the piano, and be in nature.
